  Our kitchen cabinets were pitifully outdated and falling apart. Problem was, we had LOTS of cabinetry, they were aesthetically integral to our adjoining family room, and we had recently replaced our countertops. We had given up on ever having the kitchen of our dreams. Thinking that we could at least replace our duct-taped drawers and the hinges in our top cabinet doors that prevented them from closing, we found Charlie online and had him review our mess. Charlie envisioned a way to give us the kitchen of our dreams that retained the box from our original bottom cabinets, and gave us new uppers, all new drawers, doors, and all the trimmings, at nearly half the price we had been quoted before! The end result was way more fabulous than we ever could have imagined had we started new from scratch! Charlie is truly a craftsman who cares about doing things right. Give him the time to do it right. He had to get creative to solve issues with our mess, but he did it beautifully, and always included us in decisions about alternatives as the project went along. Charlie was always very respectful and neat when he worked in our home. He was reliable in being there when he said he would or calling well in advance when something prevented him from meeting the schedule. We plan on working with Charlie to redo the cabinets in our upstairs bathrooms, which are the same ones we replaced in our kitchen. We recommend Charlie highly, especially if you want someone who does beautiful custom woodworking and can think outside the box.
